Amber is the director of corporate communications at UPMC Susquehanna by day and chair of GSVYP by night. She has been involved with GSVYP since October 2015. In addition to GSVYP, Amber serves on the board of directors for Leadership Susquehanna Valley, of which she is a 2016 graduate, and the Greater Susquehanna Valley United Way's Women's Leadership Council. She is a graduate of Elizabethtown College and will complete her master's in communications from Kent State University in August 2018. Amber lives in Mifflinburg with her husband Will, and their two dogs Griffey and Tucker.
Kalen, a native Susquehanna Valley resident, serves as Technical Director at the Weis Center for the Performing Arts at Bucknell University, and is the co-chair of GSVYP. He completed his degree in Show Production and Touring from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Fla. After leaving sunny Florida, he returned to Pennsylvania to continue his passion of working in the entertainment industry. In addition to his day job, Kalen also has a small photography business. Outside of work and GSVYP events, he can be found traveling the backroads of the Susquehanna Valley searching for the next scenic vista to capture on camera. Kalen and his two dogs currently reside in New Berlin.
Phil is an information technology professional at Evangelical Community Hospital and membership chair of GSVYP. Phil joined GSVYP in 2016 and immediately dove into his board role. Phil is a graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Technology and he holds a MPH from West Chester University. Phil serves on the board of directors for Leadership Susquehanna Valley, of which he is a 2017 graduate. When not at work or at a GSVYP event, you can catch Phil cycling throughout the state. He lives in Danville with his wife Ashley and daughter Cece.
Kendy is a mortgage broker at LMC Home Loans and is the event planning guru for GSVYP. Kendy is a graduate of Bucknell University and grew up in Milton. In addition to GSVYP, Kendy is the president of Bucknell's Black Alumni Association and is actively involved in the local Bucknell Alumni Club. She lives in Lewisburg.
Kelly is a staff psychologist at Bucknell University's Counseling and Student Development Center, and a graduate of Azusa Pacific University and The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She's been involved with GSVYP since early 2017 and on the Board since summer 2017, helping to coordinate volunteer opportunities for members. Born and raised in Southern California, she's sampled life across the US and has chosen to make Central Pa. her home. Becoming involved with GSVYP has helped in that process and she appreciates the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities with other young(ish) professionals in the area who are looking to build and invest in our communities. She lives in Lewisburg and can often be found floating down rivers in a kayak, visiting the many farmers markets, and snuggling with her cat, Otto.
Amanda is the manager of the annual fund programs at Bucknell University, where she focuses on reunion giving. After living in Philadelphia for ten years, Amanda recently moved back to the area and now lives in her hometown of Milton. Besides GSVYP, Amanda serves on the T.I.M.E (The Improved Milton Experience) Board and the Greater Susquehanna Valley United Way's Community Impact Council. Amanda graduated from Gettysburg College and also holds a Certificate in Fundraising from Villanova University.
Catherine is a commercial and personal insurance advisor at The Coup Agency in Milton where she also serves on the board of directors. She moved to the area after attending Penn State University. Becoming involved with the GSVYP has been a great way meet other YP’s and experience all that the Greater Susquehanna Valley has to offer. Catherine lives in Lewisburg with her husband Justin and their two children Reagan and Breckin.
Ryan is a Community Health and Wellness Educator at Evangelical Community Hospital where he focuses on health promotion in the workplace. Ryan holds a B.S in Exercise Science from the University of Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio. He is a Certified Health Coach through the American Council on Exercise and a Wellness Council of America Faculty Member. A native of the Susquehanna Valley, Ryan returned to the area in May of 2016 to begin his professional career and immediately started attending GSVYP events. When Ryan isn’t at work or at a GSVYP events you can find him fishing or on his skates playing Hockey at the Sunbury Ice Rink.
